Some wear them because they are not trained some because of marking. With Lucky, he is trained and does awesome as long as we are home. When I take him next door to my in-laws he wants to mark everything. At one time he started marking in my house and I just watched him like a hawk and if he started lifting his leg I would tell him no no, bad puppy and put him on his pee pad. After a few days he stopped marking in my house but he does want to mark if I take him anywhere else.
