What I did with Twinkle was to put the pee pad near to the front door and then when I saw her going to it, I took her outside and put the pad onto the front lawn, then eventually did away with the pad altogether so she just went on the grass. Now she sits by the door when she needs to go and I can let her out. Then loads of praise and a treat!
