Yeah, you don't need to shave the whole ear, unless you are planning on taping the ear for a few days, and shaving helps in tape removal. Only the top third of the ear is shaved with a regular yorkie haircut. I don't use one of the noisy clippers, I use one of those thin bikini trimmers, you can find them at Target, and they hardly make a sound. Now older, Joey can handle the noise of the bigger trimmers, but I find this easier to work with. http://alibisecret.com/attachments/I...%20twirler.jpg
