This is actually a valuable lesson, until Joey was about 2 anytime anything hit the floor he was there, before I could bend down. Members have suggested that special precautions should be taken when you are getting pills out of a bottle, and they say always pour the bottle into your hand over the sink or a drawer, so meds won't bounce and land on floor. Almost every medication could be deadly and vomiting needs to be induced immediately. For his reason, it's best to keep a bottle of hydrogen peroxide at home, and know the dosage for your dog.
