Cindy was being honest. There are actually 4 levels of softeness/hardness. I wrote to the company in Taiwan that actually makes the Madan brush and they said:
Very soft -- blue/green
Soft -- Red/purple
A little soft -- Pink/Black/Orange/Baby Blue
Hard -- Black with red pad
I started another thread where I quoted the actual response from them but wanted to come back here and post too. Everyone seems happy with all the different colors, so no harm. But if someone has not ordered yet, they may want to go with blue or green. The blue is amazingly soft for something made of a metal.
