That's exactly correct.
I don't know if people aren't really reading the article or maybe they don't know about the Asilomar Accords or whatnot - but the bottom line is: PETA has a high euthanasia or death rate because the majority of the animals they rescue during investigations are already
NEAR DEATH.
They have an Asilomar rating of U/U - and nothing can really be done when an animal is
Unhealthy AND Untreatable.
