Meet Tati and Bella Boo So I thought I have been lurking here for a bit now and thought I would finally introduce my two princesses. Miss Tati (pronounced like Katey) will be 11 years old on April 15th. She has been a part of our life for so long now and has survived several moves, the introduction of new human babies to our family, and the loss of other fur babies (her mother and grandmother as well as a special Maltese puppy mill rescue named Bobby). Through it all she has been my special baby, my little Tater bug. She is the ultimate couch potatoe most of the time, except for about an hour of each day when she comes alive and must have her favorite toy thrown for her (currently this is a monkey that when squeezed sticks out his tongue) other then that she is happiest parked on my lap.
Bella boo is our newest addition and just joined the family the first weekend in March she will be five months old April 18th, she was born November 18, 2008. She is so different then Tati ever was, so much more active. We joke that she has two speeds full throttle and fall over. When she is awake she must be doing something at all times, usually sniffing the floor for any goodies the kids might have dropped. She adores my children and they equally adore her (Tati only tolerates children and other animals she would never hurt them, but isn't particularly happy they exist in her world either). I agonized over getting another Yorkie, after so long of being a one Yorkie household, I wasn't sure I could love another Yorkie as much as I loved Tati, wasn't sure another Yorkie could fit in as well. Bella proved me wrong I adore all 2 pounds and 10 ounces of her!
The Yorkies live with myself, six of my seven children (My oldest no longer lives at home), a Quaker parrot, and an Congo African Grey Parrot. We have a full and happy home. |
