I would think it would be fine, he'll learn when your home,, go outside,,when you're not go inside ( on pad) Bailey went outside since he was 10 wks old,, I didn't even want him to associate inside with peeing or pooping.. But ,I had it easy since I can take him to work with me,,which really made it easy.
