My hubby is the exact same way with our toy poodle, she gets a kiss and baby talked too before I even get a hello when he comes home from work, granted Im not standing at the door wagging my little tail off and ready to lick his face.
She is his "little princess" and can do no wrong. This coming from some one who didnt like little dogs in the first place.
Im glad that she is in the perfect home.
