potty pad question Scamp does great in the kitchen, never goes off the pad and only misses (right near the pad) occasionally. When hes loose in the apartment, even for a few minutes he goes poop, or pee in the dinning room (I clean it will amonia/water solution) and he still goes in there, its not always the same spot but close. He also will do it in front of my daughter rocking chair in her room....I know he may have too much freedom...but Its only a few minutes here and there.....and its when i have to answer the phone or tend to something other than him, then i go later and find it.
So my question....should I put a pee pad in those areas or no? My thoughts are if I do, yes he may use the pad, but is it teaching him he can go anywhere? As soon as he has his shots this weekend (last set) we plan to outside train him.
Any help is appreciated.
