It is a non-core vaccine and should not be given routinely to every dog.
Most groomers, boarding facilities and vets (when your pup is staying overnight) require it.
Without it she could get kennel cough and then pneumonia.
With it she can get a milder case of kennel cough so I suppose pneumonia is also possible.
It really depends on her exposure to other dogs.
Personally I would try to get out of it but that may not be best for every dog.
