Well I think you are right to be concerned. Because adding another dog to the mix will change the first one...for the better.

I know there are instances that this doesn't work out, but I think that is the exception, not the rule. I rather adhere to the boy/girl mix being the best, but I know there are plenty on here that have 2 of the same sex that get a long fine.
If you are pleased with Pasta and know this breeder to have healthy, well adjusted puppies, and afford the care of a 2nd one, then I say go for it. Of course all of that reasoning led us to get our 3rd, so just beware, it's harder to say no once you've opened that door to number 2.
