You know, it amazes me why people think "how much did you pay?" is an appropriate question to ask - especially from "strangers" (except on this board of course.... that's what we're here to discuss - anything about our Yorkies that we want to). I had a few family members ask me and I only answered the ones that would "understand". The others I just told "I paid enough and she is worth every penny!". We paid $950 for Tatum and it was hard to do considering I had paid $350 for my toy poodle 15 years before. It all depends on where you live too. That's roughly the going rate for Yorkies in my area. Just try a non-commital answer when the next person asks you if you think they'll "judge" you for it and it bothers you.
