Willow is only 11 weeks but less then 2lbs and she hurts her leg regularly just from running around the house not even jumping off of things. She gets so excited she runs so fast she will either run into something or do little flips in the air. She will limp around for a little while then she is all fine again for a few days till she does something crazy again. I suggest just being careful but not paranoid ya want them to have fun and not be penned up constantly. My niece has a maltipoo that broke its leg at 9 weeks just running and jumping on the sidewalk which is only like an inch or two in height. Just never know but they do heal fast if something does happen it seems. |
