Barley does get on the back of our couch. He has done it from the time we got him (as an adult). At first it seemed to be his comfort spot, now he does it to look out the windows. When he sees something out there, he will jump off the couch and run from the den into the office. There he will jump up onto the desk to get a better look out those windows too.
Barley is a larger Yorkie at 8lbs though. IF he was a little one, I wouldn't let him do all this jumping. My toy poodle is tiny and she blew out her knee jumping off my daughter's bed. |
