I just looked this up. 1 teaspoon of salt = 2000 mg sodium. I didn't realize one tsp. had so much. I would just do the recommended intake. Don't try to go too low unless you have high blood pressure or other health problems. And make sure you are drinking enough water and getting enough fiber. That will help with the bloating.

If you find that the pre-made veggie burgers have too much for you, there's always plenty of recipes you can make yourself. You can make like 12, cook them, and freeze them. So you still have a quick meal.
