I keep up on the Fargo flood news and a dike broke last night and destroyed a high school. I hope and pray that is the only dike problems they have. It's a long time for the dikes to have to hold back that amount of water, so it's scary.
There are many smaller towns in ND that are flooded, but they don't make the news. It's just unreal. My heart breaks for all the victims of the floods. |
Connie, so glad you are alright. I didn't hear about the dike breaking but did hear the water rose something like 41 feet instead of the 43 they expected which was good news and then in the next breath said they expect snow. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think that between the city and people they sand bagged 14 miles, can you imagine what an effort that was. I'm praying for all the cities with flooding concerns.
