I went to visit another rescue Foster Mom who happened to have a larger Yorkie tipping the scales at 20 lbs! When I commented on his size (respectfully), she informed (& educated) me that originally & way back when...Yorkies were not bred to the sizes that we're accustomed to seeing today at the standard 3-7 lbs. but, much bigger.

To see her big boy, "Joaquin"...go to Yorkshire Terrier National Rescue Adoptions and Shop & click on available rescue & scroll down till you see his adorable self...now that's a cutie!

Looking for a New Home...

With that said, I have a variety of sized Yorkies...2 - Teapots & one average sized...Bella, tipping the scales at 12 lbs, Abby at 9 lbs. & Phoebe at 6 lbs. and they are all adorable & at healthy weights for their frames.

Whoever is rubbing you the wrong way, I say...well, I can't say that word but, just ignore their rudeness!
