If someone breeds an AKC yorkie with a Biewer...the puppies cannot be registered with the AKC. The AKC would consider this nothing more then a mixed breed.
However, these same pups can be registered as a yorkie or a Biewer (depending on color) with many of the German registries such as the IBC.
Hypothetically...you could breed your AKC parti male to a Biewer female. All the resulting pups would be tri colored. So the IBC would register them all as Biewers. If you breed a Biewer to a tradional AKC yorkie...all the pups would be splitters (tradional colored yorkies who carry the piebald gene) and the resulting pups would be registered with the IBC as Yorkies.
