There is another thread on here that I was reading a week or two ago that was about this same topic. Some of the people were telling about some of their comebacks to the rudeness. Some of the comebacks were pretty funny. I need to make a list in preperation for the rude ones when I'm out 'n about with her. I've thought of a few of my own, but need to jot them down as I'm beginning to forget them already.

Our little Roxy is just 5 mo old. I've been sick for the past 6 weeks, so we are way behind on socialization, but I'm sure these kind of questions/remarks will be coming my way too. I'd like to be prepared. It will be more fun if I can put these people in their place & walk away with a smile on my face instead of getting upset. I will NOT allow them to ruin my day & time with Roxy. Life is too short!

Roxy is our first little dog. DH is an avid 'big dog' guy always won out. In his book, little dogs have always been incredibly worthless. We haven't had a dog in a few years, but found ourselves missing one. This time I put my foot down. No more big dogs in the house. NONE... ever again! Been there done that too many times. He didn't know I've been wanting a yorkie for 3 years, but would always be able to talk myself out of it. I've had her named for 2 years. Finally around the holidays, I couldn't talk myself out of it anymore & seriously started looking even though I promised myself I'd never get one in the winter. But here we are. She is an absolute doll & so funny! And guess who really really loves her? DH of course. They are buddies. : ) But how can you resist that face???

Don't get angry with the idiots, get clever & one up them! Enjoy the rest of your day with a smile!
