There are different size boxes, so you can choose the right size for your baby. I don't use a puppy pad in the box, I use actual litter. As with any housetraining solution, it will take some time to acclimate puppy to the litter box, but read some of my earlier posts in this thread about putting the scent in the box and hopefully it will be a good solution for you.
