Nothing wrong with that, it is very scary to leave them alone for the first time. I have been very fortunate that leaving Silvia at home didn't bother me that bad, because she has her to kitty siblings to keep her company. And I have a great groomer who absolutely loves Silvia and carries her around all day. You have to do what you're comfortable with and hopefully you will get lucky and deal with good people that take care of your baby.
