If you are importing your Biewer from Germany then yes, it is common to see Yorkies in the lines as many German breeders still believe in breeding back to the Yorkie. There are many good Biewer breeders here in the U.S. now so importing isn't as neccessary as it used to be.
There are several U.S. registries available...the BNR, BYA and the BBCA are a few that come to mind but there are others too...I just don't know all the initials! |
