My Piper had Legg Perthes. One day last December I notice her carrying her hind leg when she was outside. I thought maybe she didn't like the cold ground. After a couple days she was doing the same thing inside. She also let me bend her knee, feel her foot etc. and didn't seem to be in pain. After 10 days of the limping I brought her to the vets. When he extended Piper's leg straight behind her she started crying. He recomended x-rays and that's when the Legg Perthes was discovered. She had surgery the following week. If the limping continues you probably should bring your baby to the vets and have the leg checked.
