Cassi is also not a barker as well, but whenever she hears something in the front or the back of our house, she'll start will low bark and will get increasingly louder until I go and check it out. One time she started barking really loud b/c she heard a noise in the back, I went to check it out, and low and behold I saw a huge dog in our backyard. Scared the heck out of me. Apparently one of our neighbors likes to walk their dog off the leash and doesn't care if her dog goes to other peoples back yard to do his/her potty. Anyway, one of these days we're going to have to install a gate in our backyard b/c my DH is getting annoyed at picking up all this poop from our neighbor's dog.
