On another thread, someone from the Greenie company posted information about how the "new" greenies had been reformulated. I asked if they were now 100% digestible, and she never answered. Some of the packs say 99% digestible, and a piece the size of grain of rice may not be digestible. The problem I have with this is that small pieces can cause a blockage in the intestines. This would be less likely to occur with a larger breed dog, because they have larger diameter intestines, however with a small breed, I wouldn't take the chance with anything that wasn't 100% digestible. |
