Default Limping puppy

My little yorkie, Bella took a fall yesterday. I came home to find her sitting in the window sill, she had climbed the couch to get up there. When she saw me walk by she got really excited and started jumping around, and suddenly she took a fall. The window sill is about 3 feet high, and she's only 5 months old. She immediately was yelping, and I figured she would be able to walk it off. Once I came in the door she stopped yelping, but she was holding her leg up and not walking on it. I gave her about 15-20 minutes, and she still was not walking on the leg, so i called the vet and made an appointment to get her checked out.

Bella lets me play with her leg, without showing any indications that it's bothering her, yet she still won't walk on it. The vet said without an x-ray, there is no clear indication as to what's wrong. I got her some anti-inflamatory pills, and if she's not better by monday, we'll be heading back for an x-ray.

I'm concerned because she isn't walking on her leg at all, but I think it's odd that I can put pressure on it, push it, pull it, and she has no reaction. I've checked her nails and they all look fine. The vet doesn't think it's a hip issue either. could it be possible that her knee popped out on the fall and went back into place, and she's just sore from that? I'm just looking for any insight as to what may be wrong, before I start shelling out cash for something that may not be there. Thank you!
