Cheddar curds are just the curds of cheese before they get pressed into a mold to form a block of cheddar. They aren't aged yet or anything. They look like very large cottage cheese curds, only they are orange like cheddar, and they are firm. When you eat them they are kinda squeeky, that part is harder to explain. They are so good. They don't leave a strong aftertaste in your mouth the way that regular cheese does.
