Ours are grown now too. We always spent the cash on the kids! Hardly ever did parties except for immediate family and one or two friends.
In our family we spent more on birthdays than Christmas. So they always looked forward to their day! Thats when they got the wii or big gift.
Christmas was low key, and we tried to focus on helping a family that was in need. |
