Definitely have her go back to the vet.
Pancreatitis is deadly if left untreated, especially to these little ones.
If she is still throwing up then the fat content in her blood is still to high and needs to be attended to. Fluids to flush the system is usually the first course of treatment. She is going to need to be put on a special diet, and it must be maintained in order for the pacreatitis to subside. Tell your friend to research about this disease, because if left unchecked it may lead to liver disease or livermegaly or even to CHF. Best wishes for your friend, and her friend! |
