My user name, Toke, is the name of my first little pooch. I'd always had big dogs before that (last one was a Great Dane). She was a Pomeranian, Peke, and Chihuahua mix...all of 5 pounds. I adored her. Since then I've had 3 Yorkies, all now over the Bridge. We lost our Phoebe at the ripe old age of 17 and a half last September. It was very sad around here, let me tell you. It was horribly empty and lonesome at our house so, to make a very long story a bit shorter, yesterday we adopted a tiny Chorkie. She's a year old, spayed, and even tho she's quite chubby, she weighs 4-1/4 lbs. Probably could lose about 3/4 lb to be healthy. Her former owner is quite disabled and was unable to give her the exercise she needs. She looks like a Yorkie except for her coloring and undocked tail. There's a lot of white on her, particularly her face. I thought I'd better post all this to ask...is it okay to post here with a Yorkie mix, or are you wanting only purebreed owners as members? I
promise I'll understand if that's the case, and unregister. This looks like such a wonderful board, I thought I'd give it a try.
