So far potty training is not off to the best start. I had heard I should take her straight outside until she goes potty before letting her come in the house, but my backyard is just dirt and she'd never been outside so she just stood there nervously. It was a little cold so I took her in. I had 2 potty pads around but they must smell different than the ones the breeder used because she sniffed them but then went somewhere else.

I am such a nervous mommy. I'm kind of unsure what to do. I'm worried about bedtime and what I should do. I would love to let her sleep on the bed with me but I'm afraid of accidents or her falling off. I think I'll probably crate her tonight. She went in the crate a couple times and seems to like it. Hopefully tomorrow we can both relax and get into a routine.

As for my cat, she was very unsure about thit little puppy. She watched her from behind the gate, but I was very proud of her for not hissing at all. Will see what happens when I put her in the crate in my bedroom though, since Rory (my cat) always sleeps on the bed with me.
