Do any of you know what this means? Both the Sire and Dam have dates after their name.
Thanks

The AKC Stud Book is basically the whole point behind the AKC - it's a list of all the dogs in each breed that are registered and have had a litter - the AKC publishes one each month with all of the first-time Sires and Dams (basically, the date that is listed is when the dog was listed in the Stud Book, which is usually the first stud book publishing after the Sire / Dam's first registered litter). The Stud Book lists the name of the dog, its date of birth, sex, AKC registration number, and color.
