 Those with skin kids?
What do you for their birthdays? Do you go all out and have a big party or do you play it low-key? We used to go all out...30-40 people, food (usually cooked on the grill), cake ice cream, games, prizes, goody bags...the whole shebang. Since the boys are getting older now (oldest will be 13...youngest will be 9 next weekend), we usually do a dinner for them on their actual b'day...just family usually...then the weekend of or after, we let them pick a place they want to go and they invite 1-2 friends. We started this last year and it has been great...I don't have to stress out with the planning and making sure everything is just right ( a bit OCD, I think) and the boys seem to enjoy it more. Not to mention the money we save...parties are EXPENSIVE. |
