LOL I kept it up. I could see at this point all he needed was time. Anyway, now HE sits on the couch and talks to Bailey. He says "daddy loves you" "where's daddy". He's constantly worrying about him and playing with him, loving on him, kissing him, hugging him. It's incredible how he went from not wanting anything to do with dogs to now he just loves Bailey to death! He even gives Baiely a hug and kiss before he leaves in the morning and tells him he loves him. I had to share this story with all of you b/c it touched my heart and I wondered if any of you have experinced anything like it? Thanks for reading!  [/B] |
I think it's unfortunate too... It always makes me sad when parents won't let their child have a dog. It got my baby Jasmine when I was 12 years old (I'm 27 now) and she has been such an important part of my life. I think it is so cute that your bf has come around so much! Fortunately, my husband's mom is a HUGE animal lover so he has also had dogs all his life. I probably wouldn't have married him if he told me that he wasn't a dog person when we first started dating. lol. We wouldn't have gotten past the first date. hehe.
