I completely understand what you say. if I would have left Sasha I would habe been her slave too. But you need to give be stronger. They are like kids and men lol they will go as far as you let them. Sasha wanted to be picky about food and wanted to sleep in my bed too. but I bought her a nice comfy bed and didn't listen to her when she was whining, so she loves her bed now!
About the food, what I do is that I leave her food out all day because I work all day. but after 7pm I take her food away, after that I might only give her small treats. like fruits or a small bone treat. but you have to be disciplined about this so he will pick up the routine. At the beginning he might not want to eat but when he is starving he will eat!
