Yeah it can still happen...especially if your male bred before being neutered.
My father raised beagles when I was a child...hunting stock. One male impregnanted so many of his females...he had him neutered. So one day my little brother comes inside and asks...I thought we had Jack fixed so he wouldn't do that anymore? Mom - we did. Little brother - well he's doing it anyway.
Suffice to say now...Jack could now whisper...it's okay girls, I'm
