| My understanding is that "eye boogers" are a common thing and I just wipe their eyes / face with a wet cloth...just plain water. I think some folks may use some wet wipes or special doggy wipes.
My Lil Bit did seem to keep a wet face (from eyes/tears) and soon smelled really stinky!!!!! I took her to the vet and he said anything "foul odor" usually means infection and gave her antibiotic and eye ointment for 10 days.....doing fine now. But she does still have those boogers and we just clean everyday or so!!!!
