I brought fleas into the house from outside and they got on my Yorkies. i had some coconut oil by my recliner and while looking through their fur, I saw several fleas scurrying about. Being too fast to catch, I dabbed some of the coconut oil on the area and the fleas are history. I read that the coconut oil breaks down the flea's exoskeleton and causes it to suffocate.It also stops them in their tracks where they can be picked off easily. What a relief to have the Yorkies soothed and happy again.
