I thought so too, so I ordered blk w/blk cushion & pink for myself. I know the blk w/red cushion has a harder cushion & is good for Afgan Hound, Old English Sheepdogs, Cockers, & other long coated breeds. I asked the sales rep at Star of Madan & that's what she said. So I ordered mostly all blue & green!
