I'm still having trouble teaching Baxter ''no bite''. I point my index finger at him and say in a firm voice ''no bite''. He usually just growls at me then walks away. I wouldn't tap his bottom, because that might just be taken as agressive from the dog's point of view and may think you are playing with him. Good luck though!
