Where did you read about the white potato and IBD? She's doing well on the sweet potato so far but she did for a week on the white potato too so it's too early to tell. |
yeah. i hear ya!!

we aren't going to go the RAW route anymore, i don't think!
Avie can not handle high fat%, at all! her first issue was chicken! then found out she couldn't handle lamb either!! so we switched her strictly to the venison (but RAW) which she did SO much better on.. but it still proved to be too much for her!
we are feeding venison & sweet potato and so far so good!

(so we will see.. we are doing an elimination thing right now! i may end up homecooking, maybe going with the honest kitchen(depending), or just stick with what we're on.. we will see!
debbie (dwerten) has helped me a TON!! she is the sweetest and really has done so so so much research! she has lots of experience with IBD (among other things!!) she sent me a couple things about the sweet potato and i found some as well.. i will look and see if i can find it. (i think it's bookmarked on my other computer!) but i will see if i can find it on here!
