DH is from NC. He grew up in Western North Carolina then spent several years living in Raleigh while going through undergrad and vet school.
I very much dislike NC, but I am a western girl for sure. I would move to CO in a heartbeat but would never consider NC. Where are you from now? That would probably make a huge difference in whether or not you would like it.
