I donate blood whenever I can. My nephew was diagnosed with Lukemia when he was 3 and needed various blood transfusions. The pinching pain I felt whenever i donated will never compare to the pain he went through everyday going through the treatment for the cancer. Its worth every drop off blood you give to see the smile on his face one more day
He is now cancer free and a big happy 9 year old boy. On a side note...I would donate my blood straight to the hospital because I heard that the red cross sells the blood to the hospitals.
You will feel great after doing it, the people at the donation clinic are sweethearts.
