She says he needs to know boundries and not to depend so much on me. I do tend to spoil him, but have backed off somewhat from this. He follows me always... never takes his eyes off me .. it's terrible .. I don't know why he does this ... I have never mistreated him or left him be4 ... shrug... I'm just as lost as he is, I'm afraid. I will be a new momma in a week or so and will be able to bring my new little girl home after Christmas some time. I thought maybe Addy was lonely and this may help him. |
Congratulations on your new baby girl arrival, such a blessing!!!
I commend you for trying to find so many options for Adakin in keeping him healthy and safe. It's easy to spoil Yorkie's, I do it all the time, LOL...
Schatzie follows me 24/7 too, is attached at the hip. Yorkie's are known as velcro babies, it's their personality. So, please don't feel you might be doing something wrong since Akakin seems attached to your hip. Yorkie's are just known to wanting to be with their owners constantly. This is one reason why i myself opted for a Yorkie.
Hmmm, Do you have a service porch area / room maybe Akakin can stay in during the day? Mabye a bathroom with anything he might damage removed? The destruction phase is pretty much just puppy stage and will end.
Maybe doggie daycare is an option, I hear wonderful and positive things from members and other people about day care for their pets. It's becoming very popular.
I wish you the best with Akakin. Feel free to post pictures, we love those here!
Congratulations again on bringing home your baby girl.
