 Donating Blood
Anyone do it?
I REALLY REALLY REALLY want to donate blood. My mom has been doing it as long as I can remember. I almost did in grade 13 but I had a cold and they turned me away. When I lived in the Soo you had to wait for a blood clinic to come to town but now that i live in a larger city- you can just go whenever.
My only thing is i'm worried it hurts- I KNOW- i can save a life- get over the pain- but it is what is holding me back. I just know when i have to do a blood test- the longer they keep that needle in you- it burns!
Anyways- i have to wait till mid april before i can donate anyways (then it will be a year since I was in the remote city of Monti Cristi in the DR teaching) and i AM AM AM going to go- i just need to know it donsn't hurt THAT bad!
