My mom was cutting up avocado & I thought it was safe - said it was in some dog food. But now, I see it is bad for them! How concerned should I be right now??

I don't really want to make them vomit. The had it 30-45 minutes ago & seem to be fine. Roxy is not quite 3 1/2 lbs, Bubba is 4 1/2 or so
