Stop freaking out.

There is no law that allows police to enter your house without probable cause that a crime is being committed.

If an officer does show up at your door, you have every right as a U.S. citizen to refuse him/her entry.

Tell the cop, but be civil, I want to see your search warranty please.

I think your police dept should be out looking for real criminals, not people with puppies. Unless you are running a puppy kennel at your house.
