Oh, most of us totally understand how you feel, I also was a nervous wreck before Mazee had her surgery. I almost cried when I had to drop her off! After her surgery she was pretty sore. The vet gave us pain meds but I only gaver her 1 think. She slept alot but still ate like normal, the main thing I think is to not let them jump, Mazee didn't even attempt get up on the couch or anything. she would just stand by the couch and we lifted her up-also just set her down, no jumping at all. Mazee wore a onesie the first night after her surgery, I wanted to make sure she didn't bother her incision. I cut out the back end so she could still pee with it on. After the first couple of days she never bothered her incision so I didn't have anything on her. Hopefully this helped! Let us know how Mimi is doing after her surgery-try not to worry too much, even tho we know it is impossible!
