The Karo you can get at any grocery store (it's just corn syrup and Karo is a brand).

The lactated ringers (fluids) and syringes and needles, etc I get from our vet. It's good to have on hand - just make sure that you warm it a little in the microwave before using it - you don't want to cool a sick puppy by injecting cold fluids.

Other than that, have a heating blanket on hand for sure. Yorkies can get sick faster if they get cold.
